Why do we need to do this

Google perceives that sites that update significantly and regularly are more likely to be high quality sites and rewards them with higher rankings.

What does this mean

Google perceive sites that are constantly updating substantial amounts of content to be more active and therefore perceived to be more credible. This also benefits from the Query Deserves Freshness update.

What do I do: Update your site frequently with substantial updates. We all know that there are not enough hours in a hotel manager’s day but unfortunately you have to create this content if you want to be No. 1 in Google. You don’t have to do all the work. If there is a local event, ask one of the organisers to create the content and offer to host the page for free on your site. At the very least update a little content as often as you can.
